Place Your Rival on Ice and Gain His Money at NHL 10

You're a fierce Xbox NHL 10 gamer who sends his opponents to the cooler every time.} You're a hardcore player who likes the thrill of sports video game battles. You know how to brawl with the best of them, and now you're ready to show the video game world that when it comes to Xbox NHL 10, you skate to victory every time. So it's time you entered the arena, and duked it out, when you play sports video games for money. Wagering each other in sports video games for cash -- these players aren't screwing around.

In order to really parade your power in the video game world, winning contest after game - and your challenger's hard cash - is a reliable path to display that you really are matchless!} Not that playing Xbox sports video games isn't great… but when you play for money, it's a lot more awesome. Finally, it's the element that the video game world has long been missing.} Your pals may throw around the bull, but now you have the chance to expose them as the big talkers they are - placing a bankroll on the game's verdict is a real equalizer here.}

Thanks to all of theenergy being hurled about, surely you are prepared to engage the big leaguers at Xbox NHL 10.} We know you just want to shoot over to the rink, fire up the video game console, and start playing.} Who in hell wouldn't? But - and this is a big but - you need more than a cocky attitude if you want to ice your rivals at Xbox NHL 10.} Make sure you know what you're doing out there… make sure your trash talk doesn't exceed your abilities. Or, in simpler terms: know the game. Don't be the dumbass who goes off half-cocked, doesn't know what he's doing, and makes an ass of himself. Playing sports video games for money is a lot different than trying to get some babes at a bar, where half-hearted techniques might seem acceptable to you.} Hold off on getting into a game until you've learned everything to know about the game play. If you don't, and your rival does, well, there's nothing colder than being the one to lose the wager. So, when you're convinced you have got the wild Xbox NHL 10 proficiency, and all of your shots is the invincible the point to stop taking a break on the sidelines and change your sports video game proficiency into quite a lot of emormous notes . See if there are any worthy (or even not-so-worthy) opponents, and start inviting them to face off in the rink.} If your rival isn't so sure he wants to face off, that's nothing a good old fashioned serenade of insults can't cure. If there's one thing about the hardcore gamers, they don't walk away from a challenge. But in the end, we're sure you'll talk some trash, play your match, and win some cash. Xbox NHL 10 is, as to be expected, a monumental step forward in video hockey games. If you thought NHL 09's graphics were more vibrant and incredible than anything you've seen, think again. And the animation is even more fluid. The game play itself is close to its forerunner, NHL 09, which will undoubtedly make aged fanatics delighted, but also, NHL 10 comprises a few inventive qualities that will supply each one a thing to be abuzz about. Post-whistle action is sure to be the instant crowd-pleaser amongst the hardcore gamers; as you probably figured out, it's where you can mix it up, after the whistle gets blown. Getting to the heart of the matter, this is where you have a quick shot to get in a few cheap shots, as well as a check or two - and this gets things set up for a much-desired clash. And it's just a matter of time before your teammates come swarming to your defense and start throwing a few shots of their own, courtesy of the new level of sophistication in gaming technology.} Since hockey and fights tend to go hand in hand, you won't be disappointed to learn that these fights really get down and dirty and out of control. The Xbox NHL 10 soundtrack adds to the overall gaming experience.} It is unfeasible to envisage a sports video game laudable without a few high-octane tunes to raise the battle, and Xbox NHL 10 once again delivers. Check out at the roster:} "Young Cardinals" by Alexisonfire, "Deathsmarch" by Cancer Bats, "Hellions on Parade" by CKY, "Golden Years" by Disco Ensemble, "Heroes of Our Time" by Dragonforce, "Anything 'Cept the Truth" by Eagles of Death Metal, "Oye Vaya" by Earl Greyhound, "Know Your Enemy" by Green Day, "Peace Sells" by Megadeth, "Wake Up! Wake Up!" by MeTalkPretty, "Keys to the City" from Ministry & Co-Conspirators, "Kids in America" by MxPx, Nickelback's "Burn It to the Ground," Papa Roach's "Into the Light," "Raccoon Eyes" by Priestess, "The Bravest Kids" from Rancid, Scorpions' rock anthem "Rock You Like a Hurricane," and "Fire It Up" by Thousand Foot Krutch. Hearing the songs provides an extra component to the whole experience - you will claim you are down on the arena, competing in the realarticle

Intimidation tactics are yet another factor in NHL 10 that makes the gaming experience even more true to life.} Rough up your rival, get up in his grill, and soon enough, you'll rile the spectators. And the spectators in the crowd in Xbox NHL 10 aren't just there for show. They're an active feature of the competition - after an occurrence transpires, they act in response.} The spectators, like any authentic audience, gets into the match, shouts approval when their team scores, catcalls when their team is losing - the lone deed they don't do is purchase costly sports ephemera. If you manage to really wow the crowd, they'll be on their feet. Maybe we are acting a bit excessively unkind during this situation, although here's one more thought to keep in mind.} Look at NHL 10, then compare that to the garbage your folks played back in the day, the things they claimed were sports video games.} This was before the revolution that gave us 8-bit and then 16-bit games - 4K was as good as it got. Have some sympathy for these gamers - if they needed a sports video game fix back in the early 80s, this is what they had:}

Though any resemblance to a sports video game is purely coincidental by today's standards, these graphics were once considered cutting edge.} All you had were four men on the non-scrolling rink. A player and his goalie. The option to pick your team of choice was out of the question. But here's something you're not going to believe.} After being unleashed on the video game world, this game was held in the highest esteem, as the sports video game that everyone worshipped.} Not screwing with you - that video game cartridge is the thing that video game fans stayed awake all night long playing throughout the past.} Gamers thought they had it so good, because at least the players tried to resemble human beings, albeit in a barely recognizable form. Now get a load of what you get to play today, in comparison to the aforementioned "old school" game," though perhaps this isn't a just competition:}

Putting it kindly, your video game predecessors, the ones who couldn't get enough of those old games, were dealing with some primitive stuff here.} For that matter, the great leap forward that transpired with 8-bit games doesn't even come close to the level of Xbox hockey game that is setting today's gamers on fire. If you're still not convinced, get a good look at this "oldie but a moldy": at least you can choose from six different teams. And to think that the video game world was certain that the future of gaming had arrived with this one: It almost hurts to look at that old stuff - you're better off cleansing your vision by taking another look at Xbox NHL 10, and realizing how good you've got it. The greatness is amplified when you realize just how many NHL 10 features were nonexistent in the older games.} There was no Battle for the Cup, no Playoff Mode, no Season Mode, no Be a GM or Be a Tough Guy. And if you were hoping for online gaming in those days? All you could do back then was to keep hoping.} You got six teams, irregular graphics, and little else.

Xbox NHL 10, though, is a totally fresh installment in sports video games. It was more or less expected that the reviewers all felt strongly about this one, naming Xbox NHL 10 as one of their all-time favorite sports video games.} And once gazing at the game in action, you'll think the same way - with the players' movement so accurate as they traverse about the ice, it's nearly unfeasable to tell relating to a genuine hockey game and the video game. Much credit has to be given to EA, who set the bar even higher for sports video games with their latest entry.} Xbox NHL 10 deserves some sort of gaming award just for the detail in the players' facial expressions - they put many of today's "A-List" actors to shame, and certainly the "B-List" actors found on your girlfriend's soap operas. On top of that, the fight scenes utilize a fantastic first-person perspective that will wow gamers everywhere.} It's similar to you are seriously gandering at a pair of fists pounding the crap out of you, but lacking the contusions, blood and possible internal damages.} As in NHL 09, familiar voices Gary Thorne and Bill Clement join the action with their on-the-money commentary. It's pretty impressive, having a pair like them.} Consider the credentials of these two.} ESPN big shot and NHL All-Star legend Bill Clement is but one half of the announcing team.} And Clement's cohort Gary Thorne, another one from the ESPN team, is a pretty impressive sports figure in his own right.} You'll be blown away when you listen to this pair's game commentary.} Xbox NHL 10 is so faithful that you'll be sure that the duo is sitting in your dwelling.

Video game fans will be pleased with another one of Xbox NHL 10's new features, precision passing. NHL 10 allows players to have better control of the puck's velocity, unlike NHL 09. If that wasn't enough, you have the ability to bank your passes off of the board, based on your aim and strength.}

Yet another innovation that's got the video game world abuzz - for the first time, Xbox NHL 10 lets gamers battle on the boards. Now, when you find yourself pinned up against the board while in possession of the puck, you can stifle your rival's attempts to get the puck from you, by kick-passing it to a teammate. Then again, if the tables are turned and you're the one doing the pinning, you'll really give him a run for his money - provided you're the better man on the ice.}
